We aim to have a wide range of complementary / alternative therapies available at The Healing Clinic, and this range has grown since opening the Clinic in 1992. We offer our services to all ages, including pre-natal, ante-natal, birthing assistance and children.
The practitioners are all fully qualified, insured and registered with the appropriate bodies for their therapies. These details can be seen through the LINK section and also on the individual practitioners pages. All of the practitiioners are self employed and so you would pay them directly, by cash or cheque as we are not able to accept credit card payments. If you have problems with paying the charges, do please ask, as all do offer concessionary rates.
Although all our practitioners are individually self-employed, we do consider them to be part of a team working together to offer the best choices of therapies for each person who comes through our doors. You may already know who or what you need and in this case, we will just book you in. However, you may wish to discuss Treatment Options with one of the Directors so we can talk you through the choices to find the best for you.This consultation usually also involves some treatment/advice.
We also have weekly Drop-in Clinics in Briar House Resources, next door to the Clinic, so you can try out several of the therapies in a shorter (and cheaper) session. You may also want to combine therapies - please talk to us about this option.
Since becoming a Community Interest Company (a type of Social Enterprise), we have been fund raising for our Bursary and Outreach Funds, in order to offer free or substantially reduced treatment charges and our outreach programme offering educational talks and short mini-treatments for local charities and groups.
