Sally Mitcham
Chiropractic is a straightforward method of adjusting the bones of your body to maintain the correct alignment of your spine and to ensure that your body's nerve supply works efficiently. It seeks to eliminate the cause, not just treat symptoms, and through subtle adjustments, chiropractic care can help to relieve pain and discomfort, increase mobility and provide a route to better health. Problems that may benefit from chiropractic include back pain, neck pain and headaches.
The gentle nature of the McTimoney chiropractic technique makes it especially suitable for people of all ages. (Sally treats children from the age of five years upwards.) Every treatment looks at the alignment of all the bones in your body – not just your area of discomfort – as the McTimoney technique emphasises a holistic approach. During your appointments, we will also look at ways you can help yourself outside the clinic, including posture and specific exercises.
Sally suffered from back problems for years while doing a variety of office jobs. After working for Oxfam for 7 years, she decided to retrain as a McTimoney chiropractor and hasn't looked back yet! She graduated in February 2005 and has since gone on to learn new massage and soft tissue techniques to complement the chiropractic adjustments. She looks forward to meeting you.
