Eve Branston
ITEC Diploma in Anatomy, Physiology and Holistic Massage
Licensed No Hands Massage Practitioner
Eve qualified as a Holistic Massage therapist in London in 2003, her background being teaching English as a foreign language. She qualified as a No Hands Massage practitioner in 2008. This is a new technique using the practitioner’s forearms instead of hands.
Massage treatments are ‘holistic’, that is dealing with the whole person’s needs, mind, body and spirit. The first treatment is preceded by a chat with the client to get to know what they need from a treatment. Oils and gentle music are usually used in Eve’s treatments.
Massage is good for mental and physical relaxation and for relieving general stress. It can be invigorating or calming. Blood circulation improves, increasing the flow of oxygen to muscles and the brain and often leaving clients feeling alert, calmed and rejuvenated. Bodily systems, for example the digestion, can be improved and neck, shoulder and other muscle tension can be reduced. So massage is an excellent, natural, all-round health promoter. It is the perfect treatment to continue to maintain balances gained from chiropractic, osteopathic or acupuncture treatments.
Eve is also providing clothed massage and short mini-treatments for busy people.
