I’ve always loved Complementary Therapies since mum used to put essential oils in my bath when I was little.
I’ve been practising for 5 years and started at Salford University, where I did a Science Degree in Complementary Medicine and Health Science.
I then lived and worked in Manchester City centre for 5 years, supervising at a busy Spa. Although I loved the buzz of the city, I missed the green fields of the countryside and moved back to the farm with my mum and dad, where I’ve set up practice. Being a farmer’s daughter, I enjoy natural, good food and plenty of exercise.
I love tropical holidays, horse riding, travelling, learning, and having fun.
I don’t think there's anything better than experiencing the effects of a real therapy, whatever the kind. It’s such a purifying and cleansing feeling for the body and mind, leaving you ready for whatever the world has to offer.
I’m fascinated by energy and how we can use it to heal ourselves and others. While I was learning Complementary Therapies, I realised it’s about the whole picture. Being open minded, respectful of others, caring and listening are incredibly important attributes to have. So many of us live with blinkers over our eyes and a lot of people are unhappy. It seems that when we're happy and balanced everything just works. Complementary Therapies work naturally with the body to balance and heal us.
I really enjoy working at The Healing Clinic and admire its policy to spread health awareness to everyone. I believe Complementary Therapies can work in harmony with each other and along side orthodox medicine.
