Clinic news...
A new DROP IN CLINIC has started: Saturdays from 10:00 - 14:00. All welcome.
The new Art Exhibition : Art Work by Friends and Family of The Healing Clinc and Briar House Resources: photos, paintings, felt wall hangings, cards, desktops. 10% of sale prices goes to our Bursary Funds. Prices start at £2.00 for a desktop, £5 for an unframed photo, £20.00 for a framed photo, paintings from £20.00, to large felt wall hangings. Do come and have a look around. Showing until November 2011 in Briar House and The Healing Clinic.
Our Outreach Programme continues: Aiming to provide hand / neck and shoulder massages. Over the past few years we have done pilots for: Refugee Action York, York Carer's Forum, MIND / Our Celebration, The Peasholme Centre, various retirement homes, The Retreat, Brusnwick Organic Nurseries Social Club. This important work has been made possible through our regular Firewalks and generous donations from well wishers. We are accepting donations / investments from individuals and organisations interested in helping us to help people who value this sort of support but who cannot access it by their own resources.
The Outreach Team is also available, with our new Pamper Pack for weddings, conferences and businesses. We can email you the options list, or the full pack, or ask at Clinic reception for a hard copy. See us in The Wedding Guide or online on their website. We can provide several different types of lovely facial massages, as well as reflexology, head, neck & shoulder massages, hypnotherapy for wedding nerves... all at very reasaonable rates. We can come to you, or you can take over the Clinic for a few hours for your wedding party. Contact Catherine Wallace or Ben Taylor for more information.

Saturday - 10.00 - 14.00
No appointment necessary. £20 - £25 per half hour treatment.

New practitioner
From the beginning of December we would like to welcome Sarah Hill, our new Shiatsu practitioner!
Sarah Knight will be joining The Clinic in February 2012, offering Therapeutic Massage, Facial Shaitsu, Indian Head Massage, Deep Colon Massage.

Spiritual Cinema...
The Friday Feelgood Films will be back in September at a new time: 7pm start.
We will be using our new projector, which will give us a bigger picture!
The Price of membership will be going up by a couple of pounds per year. The price per film to non-members will also go up to £3 per film. There will still be popcorn! Free entrance for Members of the Friends of The Healing Clinic.
Reiki Workshop
Starting the 17th of September, our Reiki Masters, Iain Keegan and Adina Fearnley will be organizing a Reiki Workshop, where Reiki practitioners of all systems are welcome to share their knowledge and practise on each other. The share will take place at the Healing Clinic, starting 14:30, every other Saturday. For more information or to book your place, please contact The Healing Clinic or either of the two organisers. Friends of the Healing Clinic
Be Our Friend: We have a new membership organisation for Friends of the Healing Clinic. As a a member, you help towards our bursary fund, available to those who would otherwise find access to our services beyond their means. You also receive benefits such as attendance at regular events, and discounts of treatment and at Wild Indigo, our shop. Application forms are available from our reception, or can be downloaded here.
We have a range of events planned in to 2011: Health Self Help techniques and discussions, Spiritual Cinema DVDs - watch this space. FREE for members of The Friends of The Healing Clinic or Briar House, £2 for everyone else. Any donations to our Bursary Fund happily received. The full list will be posted here shortly.
