Our recent Bailey Cooper Photography event at Briar House on 26th November was a great success. If you missed it, the exhibition remains at the Clinic and Briar House for the next 12 months, so do come along and see some beautiful photographs. 10% of all sales goes to support the bursary fund for attendance on courses in Briar House for those who would otherwise find them difficult to access.
A number of Healing Clinic Practitioners provided their services for the CHYPS (Confederation of Heads of Young People's Services) Convention 2009, held at the Royal York Hotel. The event was very positive for all concerned, and we received great feedback from the organisers:
Thank you very much for providing such an excellent team of therapists to support our Convention Programme earlier this month.
All our dealings with the Healing Clinic were straightforward and thoroughly professional and we were delighted that you were able to respond so readily to our request.
Your team arrived in plenty of time to set up the rooms and convention delegates were unanimous in their feedback - which highlighted both the professionalism of the therapists and the enjoyable taster sessions they provided.
The location of the Convention changes each year, but when we return to York the Healing Clinic wiull be top of our list when the programme is put together.
Many thanks for supporting our convention in this very positive way.
Yours sincerely, Sue Payne, Chair of CHYPS
This time round we raised almost £2,000 to allow the Clinic to provide hand massages to York Carer's Forum and MIND - the mental health charity for Yorkshire. We do it all again on Sunday November 8th - watch for more news!
