We all have times when we struggle to find creative solutions to our own difficulties, particularly if we feel on our own, out of our depth or that our relationships and daily life are being affected.Counselling offers a non- judgemental approach, which enables us to make sense of own situation and inner world, to engage with challenges and to explore ways forward. We can then make the unique choices and changes that enhance our sense of happiness, well-being and meaning. I offer a safe counselling relationship to assist this process, embedded in the Ethical Framework of the BACP.With nearly 20 years of experience working as a counsellor in the NHS, I have extensive experience of enabling clients to address their difficulties and make changes in their lives. I work with a wide range of clients including those experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, loss and relationship problems. Also, those recovering from traumatic or abusive experiences, and those seeking personal growth by deepening their self awareness.I offer an initial consultation to discuss your reason for seeking counselling; this may be followed by short -term counselling (up to 6 weeks) or working together over a longer period decided between us.Additionally, for those working in the helping professions, I offer reflective practice supervision tailored to your individual work context. I am currently undertaking further training in Mindfulness based approaches.
